It was over twenty years ago… in December 1991 when I graduated from the School of Journalism & Mass Communication at the University of Colorado in Boulder, with a major in Advertising and a minor in Psychology.

My vision began with a custom-made rubber stamp. “H2” was all it said. I still have it. And “H2 Ink” was going to be my advertising and graphic design company.

Oh naivete - I love you.

But looking back - I couldn’t be who or where I am now without the friends and mentors in my life, and the worldly experiences and responsibilities I am so honored to have been entrusted with.

Public relations intern, creative director at an international stock photography agency, art buyer in the ad world, account management side of the ad biz, “all of the above in one” at a lifestyle/energy drink brand start-up, speaker at a global beverage congress in Budapest, director of brand integration on a national brand at one of the largest ad agencies in the world, and helping bring the world to Idaho in support of a global non-profit… all of these “bits” have been a part of creating my vision of the world and my place in it. I appreciate where I’ve been, I relish in what I’ve learned and I look forward to what is next.

So welcome to “H2 Ink” as perhaps it was meant to be. A place to share insights, imagery and ideally inspiration. Who knows what each day will bring, but if for no other reason than to be able to look back twenty years from now and reflect, I’ve found a place to capture and share some fun “bits” along the way.
